Back in 2015, I actually started my career in eLearning at Virtual College, a company I worked for for over 4 years. Since then, I have helped them on a freelance basis, tackling some complex Articulate builds and instructional design projects.
BT
A fluid Instructional design process
Working with their digital learning team, I was tasked with creating essential online training materials for individuals sitting under BT's umbrella. I helped create a solution that lead to a flexible, engaging, bite-sized, self-directed learning experience. As well as building working templates and helping the team in other areas of the project, such as script writing and video building.

Video learning on a massive scale
Working closely with a small team on an large Internal project, my principle task was to take existing videos and edit them into manageable, effective learning chunks. I built these into Articulate with a bespoke assessment to sit on the clients LMS. This project allowed me to use my video editing skills with Adobe Premier Pro as well as creating new 'clean slate' templates, all done whilst liaising closely with SME's and working to hard deadlines.

Tailor-made online training resources.
I have an ongoing working relationship with this fantastic online training company. Working on a mix of SCORM builds and storyboarding learning modules, I have helped develop several projects to date as well as offered my services in several consultancy days and written blog posts.

Dynamic, bitesize training with propellers!
This exciting project for an Australian company was based around drone legislation. Working to tight deadlines, my role was storyboarding complex content into short, sharp, bitesize modules to be developed in Articulate Rise.
Victoria State Emergency Services
Creating online training for volunteers
This contract for VICSES involved me helping the Australian state of Victoria's emergency volunteers with some essential training. The purpose was to help new members gain an understanding of the basic compliance around driving company vehicles.
SD Strategies
Unique, engaging build concepts
Based in New South Wales, I was brought in to help this company develop existing training into an online module. Working with sensitive content, the final product was made to be very visual, using unique design concepts and lots of interactivity.

What started out as a hobby and now sees thousands of fans visit a day. I'm very proud of how far the blog has come over the years, from award nominations to interviewing club managers, It's fair to say we've achieved more than we ever thought we could.
